NEWS AND EVENTS

June 2009. The PPSTA Roving Team is tasked to process new membership

applications and release instant loans to members on site aside from answering

members' queries and product presentation. This is in fulfillment of PPSTA's

mother role of providing excellent customer service to its beloved members.

As it moves to its 2nd year of unwavering service, PPSTA

Roving Team goes roaring with excitement as they serve

the teachers of the division of Pangasinan I. The team

visited Pangasinan I from February 14, 2011 to March 11,

2011 and made a positive impression about PPSTA to the

teachers as they leave. The districts they visited included

the districts of Labrador, Lingayen I, Lingayen II, Lingayen

III, Bugallon I, Bugallon II, Mangatarem I, Mangatarem II, Binmaley I, Binmaley II, Agno, Anda,

Burgos, Dasol, Infanta, Mabini, Bani, Bolinao, Sual, Aguilar, Basista, Urbiztondo, Bayambang I,

Bayambang II, Calasiao I, Calasiao II, Malasiqui I, Malasiqui II, Mapandan, Sta. Barbara I and Sta.

Barbara II.

PPSTA is trying very hard to reach all the

teachers with excellent customer service,

with good quality and better benefits, and for being a steadfast and loyal advocate of

teachers' cause. PPSTA is now surely gaining momentum and reinstating its former

glory with the support of the Conservator, PPSTA Board of Trustees and Management

Committee and with the vigorous energy of the PPSTA Roving Team. Members are

now getting closer to the cradle of love of its mother association.

The team was composed of Mr. Dillon Arante as team leader and speaker, Mr.

Clemence Belisario as coordinator and speaker, Ms. Ana Liza Decena as loans

processor, Mr. Stanley Esteban Jr. as membership processor, Mr. Rex Paler as check

processor, Mr. Eazar Cabuyao as technical staff/trouble shooter and Mr. Jesus Lascuna

as support staff. Each contributed a lot in making the activity worthwhile for the

teachers. The team gathered around 1,295 new membership applications and released

worth more than P6M of loans to teachers.

PPSTA would not be able to reach out to the teachers in Pangasinan I without the

dedicated efforts made by Dir. Ligaya Soledad T. Miguel, Regional Director of the Region 1 DepEd and PPSTA Trustee Bonifacio A. Miguel. Many

thanks also to the DepEd Schools Division Superintendent of Pangasinan I, Dr. Aurora T. Domingo, Asst. Superintendents - Dr. Shiela Marie A.

Sison and Dr. Danilo Sison, Planning Officer Ms. Tessie S. Soriano and to all the very warm and supportive district supervisors of Pangasinan I.
